DISPLAY ADVERTISING
Display advertising is available in Black and White, Spot Color, and Full
Color. A new advertising section, WebSources, is also available and combines
display and website advertising in a single low-cost ad. Specifications
for furnishing your ads to us are included in the pricing insert, or you
may contact the Advertising Manager for assistance.
If you need assistance in preparing your camera ready art, our expert
graphics staff can help. We will be happy to aid you in production, including
discussion of objectives, copy editing, graphics, layout and typesetting.
Any fees which may be involved are negotiable and will be quoted in advance.
To arrange to coordinate display advertising with the appearance of editorial
material in which you are involved (such as an article, interview, book
review or product review), please contact the Advertising Manager.

DEADLINES
Camera ready ads and copy for typeset ads are due by the 10th of the month
prior to publication. Typeset display ads submitted by the 10th of the
month will be faxed for customer review prior to going to press. Display
advertising received after the deadline will be accommodated as time allows
regarding faxing of proofs and other amenities.
If copy or materials are not received by the 15th of the month, the most
recent advertisement from a previous month will be repeated. Advertisers
running dated camera ready ads should furnish an undated generic ad to
be used in case of production delays.
mmmAll deadlines falling on Saturday or Sunday
will be moved to 5pm the next business day.
All ads must conform to our sizes and specifications. Ads that are not sized as specified will be resized to fit the publication and production fees will be charged. Ads not submitted camera ready will incur production charges. Microsoft Word, Publisher, and similar files are NOT camera ready art for ads, but can be used as layouts to prepare your ads. Production charges are billed at $60.00 per hour, minimum charge is 1/4 hour.
Ads must be submitted in one of the following formats ONLY (most preferred listed first): Adobe Pagemaker or Photoshop (PC versions 5.0-7.0); CMYK/Gray print optimized PDF, 200 dpi; CMYK/Gray PC-format TIFF file, 200 dpi; JPEG file, minimal compression. Send your ad files as:
- An email attachment
in one of the named formats (may be compressed using WinZip or equivalent,
no SIT files). Email to artroom@lightworks.com.
- As a file on PC-formatted
1.44MB floppy disk or 100MB Zip disk. Mail or UPS to address below.
- As film (133 lpi,
RRED; include proof).
- As camera ready
reflective art, laser printed at 200 dpi or greater. Resolution must
be at least 200 dpi for a clear ad. Black & White or Spot-Color
ads only.

WEBSOURCES INTERNET
ADS
The WebSources section (usually on page 12 of each issue) is designed
specifically to direct additional traffic to your website, and emphasize
your website in addition to your other advertising.
See Black & White Display Rates for costs.
Ads may include your company name, a line of copy, your website address,
phone number, and a logo, one website per listing. You can furnish artwork
to size, or we will typeset your ad for you for a flat fee of $20.00 per
ad (you must furnish your logo art). Art changes during the ad run are
$20.00.
Print WebSources ads are available in black and white only, but also appear
on Lightworks.com, so you may furnish a color or animated version (225
x 100 pixels) for the website.
PRINTED
& CUSTOMER-FURNISHED INSERTS
Full-color, two-color, and black and white insert sections from your files
or film can be printed and included in issues of the Aspectarian.
We can also accommodate customer-furnished preprinted inserts, with very
few limitations. For more information, including quotes on your requirements,
please contact the Advertising Manager.

WEBSITE ADVERTISING
Target the online New Age market with a banner ad at our award-winning
site. Lightworks.com includes an electronic version of The Monthly
Aspectarian maga-zine, The Lightworks Visionary Art Gallery, and Guy
Spiro's Astro-Weather, and Local Connections featuring current and future
community events.
Rotating Banner Ads (468 x 60 pixels) appear on the main homepage,
The Monthly Aspectarian, and Astro-Weather pages.
